We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts / Office Assistant to join our .team. This role offers an excellent opportunity, supporting the smooth operation of our accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various financial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks undertaken. Prior experience with accounting software and data entry is highly desirable, and familiarity with systems such as, Sage, Dext, or similar platforms will be advantageous.
Duties
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions
Enter financial data into various accounting software programmes includiing , Sage, Moneysoft and dext
Reconcile accounts and prepare reports to support financial analysis
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Maintain organised records of financial documents and transactions
Contribute to process improvements within the accounts department to enhance efficiency
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Moneysoft and dext desirable
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in managing accounts receivable functions
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors
