Adara Group Ltd is a well established and growing family owned business based in Northampton. We operate care homes and manage a portfolio of rental properties. Our friendly head office team supports the wider group with finance, property and operational management.
The Role
We are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. This is a varied role with a focus on maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Enter customer and supplier invoices
Process and reconcile bank payments and receipts
Maintain records for petty cash and credit card expenses
Reconcile supplier statements and support the payment process
Assist with customer credit control and account reconciliation
General administrative support and document filing
Support the finance team with ad-hoc finance duties
What We're Looking For
AAT Level 1 or above
Experience using Sage 50 Accounts / Payroll is an advantage
Basic knowledge of VAT is helpful
Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to work accurately and independently
Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Experience with invoicing is desirable but not essential
