We are seeking a an accounts assistant to join a friendly small farm business. This is a part time role. It is a support role and would involve learning the various duties of the office manager.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the smooth running of our accounts office including payroll and wider accounts support, all while enjoying flexible hours.

What we are looking for
Experience in accounts within a small business
Confident user of Sage accounting and payroll
Attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
Positive proactive attitude.

Duties of the successful applicant include,
Prepare and analyse monthly financial records including balance sheet and profit and loss.
Maintain accurate up to date financial records and ledgers.
Trial balance preparation and posting journals
Support cashflow forecasting
Balance sheet reconciliation
VAT returns
Sales invoice and Ledger
Prepare and process payments for payroll, suppliers, via online banking.
Process invoices
Supporting the office manager with ad hoc tasks and production of general financial information.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour
