We are looking to welcome an Accounts Assistant into our business.
As a living wage employer, in our 18th year of trading, we are looking to add to an already strong finance team to drive our future growth plans.
This role would suit someone who with further support and training, would be able to progress their career internally within the group finance function.
We are a tech-based business and use a number of proprietary systems as well as products such as Dext and Xero.
Xero Finance is our accounts package and is straightforward to adopt and manage.
This role works closely with our Managing/Finance Director.
This is a fast-paced busy office environment, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
??Checking and processing purchase invoices in a timely manner ready for approval
??Matching purchase invoices with purchase orders
??Highlighting any errors/queries
??Raising sales invoices ready for approval
??Handling telephone and email correspondence with customers and suppliers in a professional manner
??Inputting of data records
??Processing delivery notes and receipts
??General finance administration
Requirements
??Knowledge of Xero would be beneficial
??Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
??Polite and confident telephone manner
??Excellent organisational skills
??Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
??Strong attention to detail
??Previous use of web-based portals would be beneficial (Elogbooks/Avetta etc)
What we offer
??30,000.00 per year
??Hours of Work - 37.5 per week; Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch

Increases to 25 + 8 Bank Holidays following probation.
