Job Summary
Austin Lebbon Construction Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Assistant to support the financial side of the business to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash
Support VAT & CIS return preparation and submission
Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve account queries
Managing Xero
Qualifications
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
Competent in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Previous experience in the construction sector useful but not essential
