About the Role:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:


Proactive debt collection via all types of communication and chasing overdue invoices, in accordance with payment terms. Act as a primary point of contact for queries and build a rapport with clients to facilitate timely payments and resolve issues. Setting up new clients and carrying out the necessary credit checks Negotiate payment plans and set up terms and conditions. Ensuring filing systems are kept up to date. Assisting with archive maintenance. Assisting with purchase ledger duties where required. Driven and willing to take on additional responsibilities, including deputising for colleagues during absences. Other ad hoc accounting duties.




Skills and Expertise Required:


AAT qualified (desirable but not essential) Relevant experience in a previous accounting role. Familiarity with accounting software (such as Xero) would be an advantage but training is also provided. Outstanding organisational skills, able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Excellent written and oral communication skills Have a flexible, positive approach and be comfortable with a changing to do list Good attention to detail and accuracy Discreet and trustworthy Tenacity and good problem solving skills
