Job Description

Amentum are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a 6-month contract. The Accounts Assistant will aid the Senior Management Accountant with month end processes, reporting and other ad hoc finance tasks.

Responsibilities

Preparation of accurate month end journals to tight deadlines. Reporting on overhead spend, including variance analysis. Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. Monthly reconciliations of company credit cards Management and invoicing of intercompany costs. Ad hoc reporting and other tasks as required.

Experience

Ideally one year in a similar role.

Requirements

Proficient in excel and use of general ledger systems. Strong analytical and communication skills. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Ability to perform well whilst working alone or in a team. Good attention to detail.

You will be eligible for UK security clearance.
