Accounts Assistant
Job Description
A North Sheffield based manufacturing company are searching for an Accounts Assistant to join them with a Sales Ledger being the priority. This is a full-time, permanent role, joining a friendly and productive team, whilst taking on a new challenge in a fast-paced and highly progressing environment!

This position includes:
- Setting up new customer accounts.
- Assigning credit limits.
- Raising invoices, pro formas, debit notes and sales returns.
- Reconciling customer accounts.
- The closing of the sales ledger each month.
- Chasing debts.
- Dealing with disputed invoices quickly and effectively.
- Resolving customer queries and working alongside other departments to aid this.
- Cashbook and bank reconciliations.
- Assisting the management accountant with month end processes.
- Assisting junior members of the team.
- Previous Accounts role/Sales Ledger experience.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work to deadlines with workload prioritisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience or knowledge of using SAGE systems is advantageous - training is received.
