We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support the accounts manager by managing various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. Prior experience with sage software and data entry is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Duties
Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices
Manage data entry tasks related to financial transactions using accounting software Sage
Entry of Credit card transactions and reconcile credit card accounts.
oversea the payment of vehicle costs and maintenance.
Maintain organised records of financial documents and correspondence
Help in processing payments and maintaining supplier relationships
Two days a week answering the main switchboard phones.
Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative duties related to accounts management
Skills
Proven experience with accounting software sage would be preferred.
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of accounts payable processes and general ledger functions
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
