The Role



We are looking for a proactive Accounts Assistant to join our friendly Finance Team at Nine Mile Water Business Park near Stockbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across 14 trading subsidiaries and to develop your career within a supportive and growing organisation.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations, helping us maintain our commitment to excellence in both NHS and private dental services.

Key Responsibilities



Accounts Payable & Supplier Management

Process supplier invoices in Xero via Hubdoc. Send invoices for approval in ApprovalMax. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve supplier queries.
Banking & Reconciliations

Complete bank reconciliations. Investigate and resolve bank reconciliation queries.
Employee & Team Support

Administer employee & business card expenses. Manage shared finance email inboxes.
General Finance Support

Post NHS sales invoices. Support ad hoc finance tasks. Assist the wider finance team as needed.
There is plenty of scope for this role to grow and more responsibilities to be undertaken, with study support available for the right candidate.

What We're Looking For



Essential

Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in Accounts Payable. Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills. Organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Teams. Team player with good problem-solving skills.
Desirable

Experience using Xero, Hubdoc, and ApprovalMax. AAT (or similar) qualifications, or willingness to study.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
