R&D Tool Engineering Ltd (An Adler Co) provides mould manufacturing and complete development solutions for the food, beverage, home, personal care, and healthcare industries.

Based in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire they are a subsidiary of a major global company

With a current annual turnover over 7.5m, and employing approx. 80 people, they are world leaders in their industry. Supplying solutions within the UK, as well as major exports into Europe and the rest of world.

Job Role

Create and maintain customer and supplier master files

Sales invoice / credit generation and processing

Maintain sales daybook

Supplier invoice printing, checking and processing

Supplier statement reconciliations

Assist with credit control related tasks

Deal with customer queries via email and phone

Month end accounts reconciliations - Turnover and G/L

Process and pay expense returns

Reconcile and prepare journal for petty cash

Process company credit card expenses

Assist manufacturing with online purchasing payments

General office admin duties incl. filing/archiving

Requirements

GCSE Maths & English grade 9-3 (A-C)

Confident IT skills, in particular Excel & Word

Organisation and time management skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Previous experience in an accounting/admin role

Advantageous

AAT Level 3 / 4

Basic knowledge of VAT legislation and taxation re expenses and benefits

Experience of raising and processing sales and purchase invoices on integrated manufacturing systems
