Accounting Assistant
, combining hands-on work experience with informal inhouse training.
JOB TYPE: Full time OFFICE HOURS: 08:45 - 17:00
These hours can be reviewed and could be discussed in advance of interview. Ideally would be looking at 4 days per week.
What You'll Be Doing:
Helping with VAT returns and payroll processing
Supporting client queries and administrative tasks
Gaining exposure to cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
Learning from experienced professionals in a supportive, friendly environment
What We're Looking For:
Enthusiasm for starting a career in accountancy
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English), and ideally A-levels or equivalent
