This is a temporary role until December 2025 but there is a possibility of this becoming permanent.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team as we work towards a major system change. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and this position requires good organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience in computer based accounting systems.
Responsibilities
Sales Ledger - raising customer invoices and monitoring payments
Purchase Ledger - dealing with supplier invoices and queries
Bank Account Reconciliation
Tills - till statements, receipts, cash up and dealing with till queries
Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Manager
Qualifications
Proficiency in computerised systems
Strong administrative skills with a focus on data entry accuracy.
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
Previous experience in an office environment is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality work output.
