The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as an Accounts Assistant as part of our Rental Accounts Team

As an Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:

Monitor and process rental income, ensuring all payments are recorded accurately and on time.

Monitor rent arrears, chasing tenants and updating Landlords accordingly

Liaise with clients regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies via email and telephone

Issuing monthly rental statements to Landlord's

Processing and paying contractor invoices

Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all rental transactions are accurately recorded.

Ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all time

The Person:

This is a fast-paced role in a busy department so the ideal candidate should possess the following skills.

A previous basic background in accounts, ideally in property accounts but not essential

Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

Ability to manage time well skills and prioritise tasks effectively

Excellent customer service and communication skill

Hours: Part time - 30 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am-3.30pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch

Salary@ Up to 25,000 per annum pro rata
