About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently studying AAT or recently AAT qualified who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a well-rounded, supportive environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals and have the opportunity to grow your career within a forward-thinking practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies and sole traders Preparing and submitting VAT returns Bookkeeping for a variety of clients using cloud-based software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) Assisting with occasional audit work Preparing company tax returns (CT600s) Liaising directly with clients to gather records, provide updates, and ensure exceptional service Supporting the wider team with ad hoc accountancy and administrative tasks

About You:

AAT qualified or currently studying AAT Previous experience in an accountancy practice preferred Competent in using cloud-based accounting software Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Eager to learn and take initiative
