We're looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant with hotel operational experience to join our Finance team at The Wren.
Our Finance department plays a vital role in the success of our hotel, and in this position, you'll be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting procedures while supporting our commitment to exceptional guest service.

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a generalist hotel accounts or finance role
Strong working knowledge of Excel, PMS systems (ideally Opera), and systems such as Fourth and Adaco
A systematic, organised approach with the ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
Excellent administration skills and strong attention to detail
Confident communication and customer service skills
A flexible approach to working hours
Ability to resolve enquiries efficiently and professionally
Key Responsibilities:
Completing the daily revenue audit and daily banking procedures
Overseeing and maintaining Stores
Food & Liquor stock take and ordering
Goods receiving
Supporting month-end procedures, including journals, accruals, and pre-payments
Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
Monitoring financial control procedures to support maximum profitability
Providing proactive operational support and guidance to colleagues
