Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Group finance department for all required areas:
Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
Maintenance of intercompany sales and purchase ledger
Process and issue intercompany invoices
Preparation of FX files for Group Treasury
Process and code non-ledger bank payments
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Assisting in preparation of the tax analysis for the Group tax team
External and internal audit support
Other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the finance function
Assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts of the Group's holding companies
Analyse possible solutions to problems that arise and be proactive in coming up with improved processes
Environmental, Safety, Risk & Compliance
Supporting the Morgan thinkSAFE ethos and leading by example at all times.
Acting with due care for the health, safety and the welfare of themselves, fellow employees, employees of other companies and general public.
Observing health and safety procedures and following arrangements for health and safety
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
Essential:
Experience in an accounting background, experience of month end deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Methodical and organised
Strong excel skills
Desirable:
Understanding of IFS or similar ERP system
AAT qualified/near qualification, studying towards further
Competencies:
Reliable, proactive, and keen to learn.
Comfortable working remotely with regular digital communication.
Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
