We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team who will be responsible for the end to end Accounts Payable process, as well as supporting with day-to-day accounting transactions and adhoc activities. This role supports all entities within the Group, and assists the Financial Controller in the month end management accounts process
Key Responsibilities
;
Purchase ledger invoice processing and supplier payments.
Sales ledger invoice processing and allocation of receipts.
Bank and credit card reconciliations.
Answering any queries relating to suppliers and customers.
Processing expense requests.
Ensuring data on the accounts & ERP systems are up to date and accurate.
Liaising with internal departments and offices.
Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounts department.
Experience in Sales and Purchase ledgers.
Experience and understanding of both Supplier and Customer management and communication.
Experience of all aspects of daily banking.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Excellent time and task management, along with good organisational skills.
Drive, determination, flexibility, sense of humour and a diligent approach.
Highly proficient with IT including Microsoft Office & Excel.
