About the Role:
Are you currently studying AAT Level 4 and eager to advance your career in accountancy? Join us as an Accounts Assistant in our Wrexham office, where you'll gain hands-on experience working with a variety of clients in a supportive and collaborative environment. This role is ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented individual who is keen to develop their skills and play a key role in delivering high-quality accountancy services.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts for Limited companies and sole traders.
Supporting the completion of VAT returns and Self-Assessment Tax filings.
Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of balance sheet items.
Carrying out bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients.
Assisting with management reporting to provide clients with valuable insights.
Liaising with clients to address queries and ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
About You:
Working towards AAT level 4 qualification.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn accounting software.
Experience with cloud accounting products, particularly Xero, is beneficial.
CCH experience desirable.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
A proactive attitude and commitment to professional development.
