We are a growing, family-run accountancy practice looking to expand our team as the business continues to develop. We are seeking a reliable and motivated accounts assistant to support our finance function and play a key role in our day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Performing regular bank reconciliations
Maintaining records and ledgers
Communicating with clients and responding to account queries
Supporting the wider finance team with general accounting duties
Dealing with administrative tasks
About You
Minimum AAT Level 3 qualification - essential
Ideally AAT qualified or holding a degree in accountancy
Previous experience in a similar account's role
Accountancy practice experience - desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
