Advance Accountancy are an established accountancy practice based in Southport. We have an excellent team, many of whom are part way through achieving their accountancy qualifications. We strive to recruit talented and driven apprentices every year.

Growing and progressing our team is our goal and as a new apprentice we will provide tailored mentoring and workplace training alongside fully funded AAT study and exam support.

We are recruiting for an Accountancy Apprentice for our office based in Southport. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience working alongside an established team of accountants.

We will ensure you are fully supported throughout your studying at College and you will benefit from the support group of our current trainees.

Whilst at work you will be supervised by experienced, qualified accountants who will help you step by step in understanding what is required to progress your career as an accountant.

Your duties will include:

- Preparation and analysis of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies.

- Assisting audit teams on audit assignments.

- Bookkeeping and assistance with preparation of management accounts.

- VAT returns

- Tax returns for businesses and individuals.

- Administration, organising files, photocopying etc.
