Punjab Paper Converters LTD (PPC) is a Lancashire based, independent manufacturer of quality toilet tissue and domestic paper products. Established in 1986, we worked extremely hard to build a strong, reputable, and recognisable name in the paper business. Starting from scratch with a hand full of family members and pure determination we have become a well-known household name. PPC has worked hard over the years in building a strong and open relationship with its customers with an aim of producing the UK's best quality paper products.
We now require an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our accounting team who currently manage over 250 customers.
The Role
Posting of daily cash receipts
Reconciliation of daily banking transactions and company receipts
Updating the company credit management system accurately
Processing refund requests in line with company policy
Reminder procedures for overdue bills
Credit approval of all potential new customers and credit limit monitoring for live customers. Regular review and report on uninsured risks.
Assisting with stock control reporting
Assisting with treasury reports
Producing sales reports
Support the Finance Director with provision of management information for internal and external stakeholders as required.
Ad Hoc accounting duties as and when required
Experience Required
Previous experience working within a financial administration role
Able to work under pressure
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Sage 50
