We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Clerk to join our finance team here at Griffin Mill. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the dealership, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent internal communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in supporting a busy finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Control:

Monitor and manage outstanding customer balances, following up as necessary to ensure timely payment.

Credit Card Reconciliation:

Accurately reconcile credit card payments and resolve any discrepancies.

Sales Ledger Allocation:

Process and allocate incoming payments to customer accounts, ensuring ledgers are accurate and up to date.

Vehicle Debtors Liaison:

Work closely with dealership managers regarding outstanding vehicle debts, providing updates and resolving issues promptly.

Support to Dealership Accountant:

Assist with financial reporting, month-end processes, and other accounting tasks as required.

Team Collaboration:

Work effectively within the finance team and across other departments, contributing positively to a cooperative and productive work environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience in accounts or finance administration preferred. Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). A collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
