Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting, with proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Payroll, and Sage Accounts. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and providing strategic insights to support our business objectives.

Duties

The preparation of daily revenue report, sales ledger, purchase ledger, weekly and monthly payroll, financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making. Prepare profit and loss accounts, monitoring performance against targets. Ensure the accuracy of financial data entered into accounting software systems ( Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts).

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accounts Controller or in a similar financial management role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts is essential. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 -12 months

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
