Job Description
Goose + Berry, an award-winning event catering company, is looking for an experienced Part Time Accounts Manager to join the team at our Maidenhead office. This role involves supporting the day-to-day finance function of a busy and growing business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial operations.
Salary:
30,000 Pro RataSchedule:
2/3 days per weekAs Part Time Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for:
Processing payroll accurately and on time Managing bookkeeping including supplier and customer invoices, payments and the general ledger Assisting with monthly accounts and performance reports Maintaining sales and performance data to support budgeting and forecasting Supporting year end processes and liaising with external auditors Overseeing VAT, PAYE settlement agreements and statutory submissions Identifying and improving inefficient systems and processes Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships Completing regular and accurate bank reconciliations
We are looking for someone who:
Is AAT qualified, part-qualified, or has relevant experience Has previous experience in an accounts or finance role Is confident working independently and managing core finance responsibilities Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Can work calmly under pressure and manage competing deadlines Is familiar with Xero or similar accounting software, with Xero preferred Maintains a high level of integrity and professionalism
This is a part time position, with flexibility on days and hours to suit the right candidate.
