Gold Leaf Property Investments (GLPI) encompasses 5 different property-owning entities involved in developing and letting mainly commercial property coupled with a stream of residential conversion projects.
The successful applicant will be sufficiently experienced in accounts to cope with all financial matters prior to the accounts being sent to our accountants but full qualification is not a necessity. GLPI owns and manages a strong 8 figure portfolio with a surprisingly modest team of around 10 staff. The role requires oversight of all financial and accounting matters working directly with the Managing Director and to manage an accounts department of 3 people.
While good reporting is essential this is very much a "hands on" accounting role
The role is office based and is not expected to stretch beyond normal working hours. The role involves interaction with property managers and managing the accounts team and is not suitable for hybrid working.
Property industry experience is not required. We use Xero and familiarity with it will be an asset.
