Initial 3-month contract (with potential to become permanent)
We're looking for an Accounts Assistant with great attention to detail to join our team. This role offers flexibility to be part-time or full-time and will initially be a 3-month position, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

We specialise in property maintenance, plumbing, and heating services for a wide range of clients. About the Role
As Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our finance processes while also providing general office support when required. You'll need strong attention to detail, confidence using IT systems, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities include:
Processing supplier invoices and uploading them to in-house systems, Hub-Doc, Xero and Propeller.
Producing and issuing accurate customer sales invoices
Reconciling supplier and contractor statements
Taking payments
Collaborating with engineers/maintenance teams to query and close jobs in preparation for invoicing
Management of contractor diaries, booking jobs and liaising with customers
Liaising with the group finance team
Supporting general office duties during busy periods, including answering phones and responding to customer emails
Stock ordering, boiler registrations and customer paperwork
Dealing with customers face to face
Liaising with suppliers and contractors where necessary
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of building and plumbing terminology would be advantageous
Good IT skills, including Excel and accounting systems (training provided)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident in face to face customer interaction
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and a professional manner
A flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team

This role is based in Torrisholme and the working hours will be 8.30am - 4pm.
