Our organisation is looking for an Accounts Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Month-end financial duties, including preparing accruals and prepayments, conducting cost analysis, reconciling bank accounts, and calculating client rebates to support accurate reporting Accounts payable functions, such as processing purchase invoices, and reconciling credit card transactions, maintaining timely supplier payments Handling credit control responsibilities, monitoring outstanding debts, liaising with clients to recover overdue payments, and maintaining up-to-date aged debtor reports Preparation and submission of VAT returns, PPT and EPR Returns Monitor petty cash and process staff expense claims Assist in updating short-term and long-term cash flow projections. Support senior finance staff in identifying potential cash shortfalls or surpluses Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage 50 / Sage 200. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, preferably for an SME and/or Manufacturing company. We are looking for an individual who is highly organised, hard-working and has the ability to think strategically and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-31,000.00 per year
