Michael Page are recruiting for a experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and manage the AP team on behalf of a well-established organisation in East Manchester. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise, leadership, and PL skills to our team in Manchester.The key responsibilities of an Accounts Payable manager will include:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting & finance department.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports or as needed.
- Assist in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies.
- Prepare financial statements and forecasting reports.
- Liaise with senior management to improve financial performance.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Implement strategies to reduce costs and increase revenue.
- Lead and supervise the accounting & finance team.
- Proven experience managing Accounts Payable processes
- A solid understanding of Purchase Ledger principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- A detail-oriented approach with a high level of accuracy.
- A salary up to xc2xa340,000 per annum
