Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable

Accounts Payable Specialist

to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests. Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy. Enter and maintain vendor information in the accounting system. Reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Assist with month-end closing and reporting. Maintain organized records and documentation for audits. Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors. Support process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting (2+ years preferred). Proficiency in accounting software (Xero). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
