Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the accounts receivable and billing function within the property industry. This role is based in Grays and requires expertise in accounting and finance to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and reporting.

• Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Oversee the billing function and ensure accuracy at all times
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts to minimise bad debt.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and provide insights to the finance team.
• Reconcile accounts receivable records with the general ledger.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
• Implement and maintain efficient processes for credit control and collections.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members within the accounting and finance department.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
