In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable process, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding customer payments. Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients. This role requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of the accounts receivable function and drive process improvements to enhance cash flow and reduce outstanding debt.

Main Duties:

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including accurate and timely invoicing, monitoring payment terms, and resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and reduce bad debt.
  • Perform regular analysis of accounts receivable aging and take appropriate actions to collect outstanding payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring proper credit limits and payment terms are in place.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve payment issues and address any queries or disputes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to establish credit limits for new and existing customers.
  • Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable, including cash flow projections and aging analysis.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue and cash receipts.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline the accounts receivable function.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations related to accounts receivable management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable management.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of credit management and collection techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
