Job Summary


The Senior Account Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial accounts of our clients. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting, finance corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns. Capable of utilising various accounting software (IRIS, QuickBooks, Xero and Sage) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and will be responsible for maintaining client relationships while providing exceptional service.

Duties



Preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns Prepare and maintain financial reports using accounting software such as IRIS QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Managing and liaising directly with clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to their accounts. Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights based on financial analysis. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure proper documentation is in place. Provide support to junior staff members, offering guidance on best practices in accounting procedures.

Skills



Proficiency in accounting software including IRIS, QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero is essential. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members alike. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 26,016.29-41,937.73 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
