The Role
We are currently looking to recruit a part-time Accounts Assistant to support our small finance team. This is a varied role with a focus on maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Enter customer and supplier invoices into Sage 50
Process and reconcile bank payments and receipts
Maintain records for petty cash and credit card expenses
Reconcile supplier statements and support the payment process
Assist with customer credit control and account reconciliation
General administrative support and document filing
Support the finance team with ad-hoc finance duties
What We're Looking For
Experience using Sage 50 Accounts (Sage 50 Payroll knowledge is a bonus)
Basic knowledge of VAT
Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to work accurately and independently
Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Experience with care home invoicing is desirable but not essential

Competitive hourly rate - 12.75 - 13.50, depending on experience
