Acquisition Surveyor - Telecoms

Flexible - UK

An opportunity has arisen for an Acquisition Surveyor to join the team at Galliford Try. Our Acquisition department delivers the legal interest upon which the network is based and includes Acquisition Surveyors, Estates Surveyors, Planners and Coordinators. We deal with every aspect of network delivery including the acquisition of new sites, temporary solutions, site upgrades, lease renewals and rent reviews. Based across 3 regional office in Warrington, Edinburgh & Leicester the Acquisition team delivers industry leading results through a regional structure which reports into our key clients.

You will work within our Telecoms Business, who are a leading multi-disciplined organisation capable of carrying out all aspects of the infrastructure build for the mobile and fixed line telecommunications industry. Innovation is at the heart of our approach to our clients\' requirements; from a single element of network development through to a fully managed network service, we provide a full turnkey solution.

What you will be doing:

You will maintain a portfolio of telecommunication sites under the operational guidance of the Acquisition Manager, delivering exceptional results whilst maximising profitability and the strategic needs of the business.

  • To conduct all company business in a professional manner, liaising with clients, design consultants, radio planners, planning officers and site providers to achieve project goals.
  • To take responsibility for a portfolio of telecommunication sites and carry out all related activities, including site searches, audit reports, MSV attendance, client reporting, submission of planning applications, negotiation of heads of terms, completion of 3rd party applications, legal liaison and handover documentation.
  • To identify and investigate sites which meet the operational needs of the client\xe2\x80\x99s business and to manage the acquisition process of such sites from identification to possession utilising a right first-time approach.
  • To adopt a right first-time approach to the drawing approval process ensuring that plans are fit for purpose from the outset
