Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy A/C technician to join our team. We are looking for someone to work Mondays and Fridays, but if you would like more contracted hours we are open to negotiating. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Duties

Checking dispensed medication. Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of medication. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and their administration. Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and manage inventory levels effectively. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes. Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy practice.

Qualifications

Registered ACT Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
