About the Service
Located in Bargoed, Eva and Oak is a supported living home for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Our service users have a range of individual needs, and we are dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing, and person-centred environment. Our goal is to ensure that everyone--both residents and staff--feels valued, respected, and part of a community where they truly belong.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Manager, you will:
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of compassionate care professionals.
Ensure the highest quality of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage staff rotas, audits, and performance reviews.
Work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure outstanding support for service users.
Oversee individual support plans, adapting them to evolving needs.
Respond to on-call requirements (on a rotating basis every 10-12 weeks).
Handle crisis management with professionalism and empathy.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and thriving environment for both staff and residents.
What We're Looking For
We're searching for a passionate leader who embodies values of compassion, integrity, and dedication. Our ideal candidate will have:
? Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or be working towards it).? Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential).? The ability to register as a manager with Social Care Wales.? A proactive mindset and strong decision-making skills.? Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.? A 'can-do' attitude, resilience, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.? Knowledge of safeguarding policies and experience in crisis management.? The flexibility to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, with occasional on-call and shift cover responsibilities.
