The Active Outdoors Assistant role will support the Saltram Visitor Experience team to deliver Summer of Play 2025.
We are looking for an applicant who is passionate about creating engaging experiences for young families, has a friendly and outgoing manner and has the flexibility and confidence to meet a wide range of responsibilities. A sports qualification is not required for this role.

What you'll be doing:Over the Summer of Play programme, the Active Outdoors Assistant role will help set up the activities and pack down at the end of the day, ensuring presentation standards of the Play zones remain high throughout the summer, providing the safe and clean experience visitors expect. The role will welcome and engage with families daily, and also help in hosting or facilitating featured games on some days.

The role will work an estimated 26 hours per week over 4 days, this will include weekend and bank holiday working.
