Summer of Play is returning to Croome for 2025! This year, we're celebrating all things bugs and biodiversity, with critter-themed fairground games, hands-on creative workshops, and a mini theatre for performers big and small.
The play worker role is key to our success, and we are excited to offer a fixed term position to support Croome's Visitor Experience team to deliver Summer of Play this year.

What it's like to work here:Croome is a 730 acre estate, designed for the 6th Earl of Coventry in the C18th by the celebrated Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, who designed not only the landscape but Croome Court and other buildings too.
We have landscape gardens, woodland and parkland as well as a mile and long ornamental river to care for.
We're offering 1 x 22.5 hours (3 days p/w) - days to be determined but weekend and bank holiday working is essential.
What you'll be doing:Our Playworker will help set up the activities, welcome families daily, and ensure that the presentation standards remain high throughout the summer, providing the safe and clean experience visitors expect creating a positive and lasting impression of this popular event.
Applicants should have an outgoing and friendly manner, be passionate about creating engaging experiences for young families and have the flexibility and confidence to meet a wide range of responsibilities.
