We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing engaging activities tailored to the interests and abilities of seniors, including those with dementia and Alzheimer's care needs. This role requires strong communication skills and a genuine passion for event organisation
Responsibilities
Design and implement a diverse range of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being among residents.
Assess the individual interests and needs of residents to create personalised activity plans.
Coordinate with caregiving staff to ensure that activities are safely conducted and accessible to all residents.
Facilitate group activities, including arts and crafts, games, music therapy, and exercise sessions.
Maintain records of resident participation and feedback to continually improve programming.
Collaborate with families and caregivers to encourage involvement in activities and events.
Organise special events and outings that foster community engagement and social interaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the activities programme.
Experience
Previous experience in assisted resdeintial settings is highly desirable.
Background in activites , particularly with dementia or Alzheimer's patients, is preferred.
Proven experience in caregiving or working within a care home environment is advantageous.
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with residents, families, and staff members.
A creative approach to planning activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities is required.

Pay: 12.21-12.57 per hour
