Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Activities Co-ord to work in our Activities team at Stonebow House.

- Organise activities that are tailored to the needs and abilities of individuals, as well as group activities that will bring residents together
- Co-ordinate and communicate well in a team environment
- Document and evidence the aims and targets of your role
- Assist people to take part in activities, including residents with challenging behaviour
- Talking and communicating on an individual basis with residents. Understand their likes and dislikes
- Booking external suppliers to provide services and entertainment,
- Manage and plan the involvement of our volunteers
- Stay within your allocated budget
- Organise and plan yearly events and occasions
- Organising trips out in the local community, considering individual risk assessments
- Participate in research and seek our resources to support the wellbeing of our residents

This role must adhere to the following principles;
1. Do the range of activities for each person reflect their choice, their social, cultural, and religious preferences, and are they available at frequent and regular intervals throughout the week?
2. Are current activity preferences, interests and abilities regularly reviewed, recorded in the care plan, and reflected in daily activities?
3. Where appropriate, is it evident that people in the care setting and relatives are involved in planning?
4. Do staff communicate effectively with people to ensure they are included in activity planning on a regular and ongoing basis and how is this recorded?

Requirements
- British manual Driving License required

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
