To support and enable Service Users' access to social networks, social activities and personal interests, in accordance with current best practice, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager, and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time.
Main Duties:
To organise and implement activities which engage Service Users'.
To ensure activities reflect the range of cultural diversity within the home.
. To ensure Home's social media is updated.
. To document in care plans, engagement with Service Users.
. To organise events for both Service Users and Staff at the Home.
Support an open, positive and inclusive working culture.
To promote equality and diversity amongst fellow colleagues and service users'.
Participate in the maintenance of the home's management information systems.
Assist in the formulation and implementation of care and activities promoting equality and diversity.
Act within the home's budget based on the home's objectives.
Work in a cost-effective manner.
Assist the Manager in the design and administration of an evaluation of the activities.
General:
To attend/participate in supervisions, training and staff meetings when required
To adhere to and follow the home's policies and procedures.
To work to high standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.00 per hour
