We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities co-ordinator to enhance the quality of life for our residents in a residential home environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and implementing engaging activities tailored to the needs and interests of residents . This role requires strong communication skills and a genuine passion .
Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate a diverse range of activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents.
Assess the individual interests and abilities of residents to create personalised activity plans.
Facilitate group activities such as arts and crafts, games, exercise sessions, and social events.
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback to continually improve programme offerings.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding upcoming activities and events.
Foster a warm and inclusive environment that encourages resident engagement and social interaction.
Experience.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents, families, and team members.
