More about the role
As an Additional Support Worker, no two days are the same and you will enjoy a role which brings a lot of variety. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do, and our Additional Support Workers play a key role in encouraging the people we support to live as independently as possible! You will be based at our new development in St. Helens, supporting a young gentleman with their person centred support plan and their preferred activities which can include:
Board games including monopoly, or wordsearches and quizzes
Learning new skills including cooking and baking
Access community activities e.g. dancing
Supporting people in their voluntary work
Supporting with domestic duties which will include, cleaning, ironing and washing where required.
Working patterns
Our Additional Support Workers work flexibly and have the opportunity to book onto shifts through our Work search app. We offer a variety of shifts at our new development in St. Helens which you can fit around your lifestyle. This includes, day shifts, night shifts and weekend work.
