Admin and Packing Assistant (Part-Time, reporting to Office Administrator)

Hours:
Starting at 2.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday (10:00am - 12:30pm)
(with potential for additional hours as the business grows)

Role Overview:
This is a brand new role in our fast growing company. The Admin and Packing Assistant will be responsible for packing and preparing our web orders for dispatch (and anything associated with that), completing any required admin duties and helping with tidying/hoovering in the workshop, ensuring accuracy and high standards at all times. Working closely with Laura, our Office Administrator (who will be your line manager), you will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our daily operations. You will need to be flexible, able and willing to perform a variety of tasks (admin and practical) as the business requires.
Key Responsibilities:
-Accurately pick, pack, and prepare decorative trims, panels, and other products for customer orders.
-Ensure all items are packed securely and presented to a high standard.
-Assist with organising and maintaining stock in the workshop.Carry out other admin and general duties in the office and workshop as required to support Laura (ranging from processing customer orders, helping with any workshop duties, and possibly dealing with clients directly).
-Follow health and safety guidelines within the workshop and office environment.
Requirements:
-Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
-A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to help and complete a variety of tasks where most needed and as instructed to do so.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, supportive team.
-Reliability and good timekeeping.
-Physically able to carry out manual handling duties (lifting, moving stock).Need to work on site at our workshop is essential (no home working).
