Farid Hillend Engineering - one of Europe's leading manufacturers of high-quality, custom-built recycling collection vehicles. We are a well-established company, operating for over 50 years.

We are looking for an

Admin Assistant

to support in the daily running of our

Accounts Department

on a fixed term 3-month contract.

This presents an excellent opportunity for an individual who has experience in providing high-quality administrative support within a finance or professional services environment. Experience in a finance-related role is beneficial but not essential.

The primary function of this role is to provide

administrative support to our finance team

, who manage the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining cash flow, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Accounts / Finance team Manage the accounts inbox, ensuring invoices and statements are processed and filed promptly Maintain accurate and well-organised financial files and records Carry out data entry into accounting systems and spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers on queries

Knowledge and Experience:



You will have strong administrative skills, a can-do attitude and a professional manner, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What skills should you have -:

Strong organisational and time-management skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and customers Basic understanding of accounting or finance processes (or willingness to learn) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
