An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our Admin Team at Locala Community Partnerships in Calderdale.


This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5hrs, the working hours are between days: Monday to Friday - 4days 08:30am \xe2\x80\x93 17:00hrs, 1day 08:30am \xe2\x80\x93 14:00hrs on a flexible rota basis.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality administrative support to the services that are under the Calderdale PHEYS Team, inclusive of the 0-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 service as well the Calderdale School Nursing Team 5-19 years\xe2\x80\x99 service. Responsibilities included in this role will be to support the smooth day to day running of the Admin Hub. You will work effectively under pressure, will possess excellent administration skills, and be expected to undertake a variety of tasks throughout the day; prioritising the workload including being part of a Rota to take calls as they come into the hub. The successful candidate will need to provide cover across the working week which means the need to be flexible in their working days is essential. You will also need to have the ability to develop positive working relationships with all colleagues across the Organisation. Applicants should be excellent communicators with good telephone skills, have the ability to deal with the public on a daily basis and have a positive approach to customer care. The role will involve providing administration support to a wide range of Health Professionals and their services, children aged 0-5 years and their families throughout Calderdale and other areas. A car owner/driver is desirable as you may be asked to travel but this is not essential for this role. It is a necessity that applicants have a good general education as well as numeracy skills, a very good standard of typing, IT skills, experience, and a good all-round knowledge of patient electronic records within the NHS is desirable but not essential. You will be enthusiastic, willing to learn, eager to play an effective part in a very busy office environment and be able to use your own initiative. Role specific training will be given.
