We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in a vehicle workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and will involve a variety of clerical duties. Hours of work will be 8am-5pm. Monday to Friday
Duties
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Maintain organised filing systems for both physical and digital documents
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Handle basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as needed
Support team members with clerical tasks to enhance productivity
Knowledge of xero desirable
Requirements
Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
Demonstrated phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for client interactions
Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory
Previous clerical experience will be considered an asset
