Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.

Position: Fines Officer
Location: HMCTS Great Yarmouth
Hours: Monday to Friday - Early Friday Finish
Pay Rate: \xc2\xa310.57 per hour and rises to \xc2\xa311:88 an hour after 12 weeks.

Ready for a new challenge? Our Public Sector Client based in Great Yarmouth is looking for someone with administrative experience and excellent phone and Keyboard skills to join their team as a Fines Officer.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting unpaid Financial Penalties
  • Making outbound calls
  • Creating payment plans
  • Inputting on to the HMCTS data base
  • Proactively deciding on account matters
  • Organising workloads
  • Managing the office email inbox
The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, and a nice early finish on a Friday where you will finish at 4:30pm. You\'ll have a 45-minute lunch break, and we offer an hourly rate of \xc2\xa310:57. This role is initially a temporary role but likely to be extended.

Key skills needed: organisation, good decision-making, and basic understanding of Maths & English.
