We are seeking a dedicated and organised part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team, this is a Maternity Cover Post. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience and administrative skills, contributing to the smooth operation of our daily activities. This role requires proficiency in various computer applications and excellent communication abilities, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently.
Responsibilities
Booking plant hire for all commercial jobs
Check all invoices are correct, log and pass to accounts
Manage phone calls and correspondence
Ensure all paperwork is received and filed efficiently
Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
Assist with H&S admin
Ensure new starts have correct certs, book accordingly where needing renewed etc.
Assist with Flights/Accommodation bookings where needed
any other ad-hoc admin duties
Requirements
Previous office or administrative experience is essential
Proficient computer skills, including a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
